Prof. Liu Hongwu Invited to Give A Lecture at 2019 Workshop on Chinese Teachers Training for Africa

On the morning of July 12, 2019, Changjiang Scholar of Ministry of Education, Chief Expert of Zhejiang Province, Qianjiang Scholar, the Director General of IASZNU gave a lecture entitled “How to be A Good Messenger of Sino-African Cultural Exchange” to the Chinese teachers sent to Africa by the Confucius Institute Headquarters.

Prof. Liu Hongwu invited to give a lecture


Professor Liu Hongwu analyzed the significance of Chinese language teaching in Africa from three aspects: the development of African civilization, the cultural exchanges and strategic cooperation between China and Africa. Professor Liu introduced the long cultural history of China and Africa, the development process of Sino-African cooperation since the founding of the People's Republic of China and the increasingly close strategic partnership. He also pointed out that China was the most successful country in the world in poverty alleviation. China-Africa cooperation can effectively promote the economic development of African countries, which has far-reaching impact on both sides and the world.
